Structure

STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY

Structurally, the Ministry is composed of the following Directorates and each is headed by a Director:
Directorate of Admin and Human Resources
Directorate of Finance and Account
Directorate of School Services,
Directorate of Planning, Research and Statistics,
Directorate of Science and Technical Education
Directorate of Quality Assurance,
Directorate 0f Education Resource Center
Directorate of Examinations

In addition to the above Directorates, there are Three (3) Zonal Education Offices as Follows:-

1. Bauchi Zonal Office Located at Bauchi,
2. Katagum Zonal Office Located at Azare and
3. Darazo Zonal Office Located at Darazo.

 

Parastatals

Parastatals of the Ministry

There are seven (7) Parastatals under the Ministry of Education, namely:
1. State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB)
2. Teachers’ Service Commission (TSC)
3. Special Schools Management Board (SSMB)
4. Bauchi State Agency for Mass Education (BASAME)
5. Bauchi State Agency for Nomadic Education (BASANE)
6. Bauchi State Library Board (BSLB).
