
Commissioner for Education Visits Schools to Assess Education Quality
The Honorable Commissioner for Education, Dr. “Jamila Dahiru, visited several schools to evaluate the quality of education, infrastructure, student performance, and teacher punctuality. The schools visited included Government Secondary School (GSS) in Duguri, Government Science Secondary School (GSSS) in Bununu, Government Day Secondary School (GDSS) in Gital, Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) in Tafawa Balewa, and Government Girls Day Secondary School (GGDSS) in Gyamas.
During her visit, Dr. Dahiru emphasized the importance of parental and community involvement in ensuring students return to school. She called on parents and community leaders to collaborate in increasing student enrollment and participation.
Dr. Dahiru also expressed her gratitude to Governor Bala Mohammed for his commitment to improving the educational environment in the state. She noted that the governor’s efforts have significantly contributed to creating a more conducive learning atmosphere for students.
The Commissioner’s visit highlights the ongoing efforts to enhance educational standards and ensure that schools are adequately equipped to provide quality education to students.
